In this video we explore the impact the Reformation of the sixteenth century had upon burial in Bridgwater. We then turn to survey all the known burial grounds that emerged in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, mostly those of the Dissenting congregations.
*Correction: the Friarn Street Unitarian burial ground was excavated in 1992 and the remains taken to the Bristol Road Cemetery*
