Fantasy on the ‘Happy Birthday’ theme

Here’s a silly little thing I wrote and recorded at home circa 2013-4. I’ve decided to be a more open person and share more of myself in the now imminent new decade of my life. It sure ain’t the Missa Solemnis but it’s still sharing and counts as a blow to my pathological perfectionism which halts most of my creativity. I’ve got a few more like this, a little fugue, some songs. And yes, anything I wrote during this period does sound like bad Rachmaninov, ha ha. Hope you like it nevertheless. If you’re interested in how I harmonised the theme, better go to the ending; before are just fragments and a very weird B section which must have come from a day of listening to The Miraculous Mandarin or something. Do you want a score ? So do I (didn’t write this one down. If you are so misguided as to want a score I’ll do it for you and you can thank me by finding me a trio to play LvB’s Archduke).
