Digital transformations, are well underway in all areas of life, including health, bringing about substantial and wide-reaching changes. But large gaps remain in our understanding of the interface between digital technologies and health.

The Lancet and Financial Times Commission on governing health futures 2030: growing up in a digital world argues that not only should digital transformations be considered as a key determinant of health, but also that the only way to ensure that digital transformation has a beneficial effect on health for all is by taking a precautionary, mission-oriented, and value-based approach to its governance.

During this Lancet Webinar co-Chairs Ilona Kickbusch and Anurag Agrawal present the key recommendations of the Commission. Andrew Jack, Global Education Editor of The Financial Times, chairs a discussion with Commissioners exploring how governance can shape digital transformations to bring about improvement in health for all.
