In this video, I'll guide you through the installation of the Basic Wiring Harness. This harness is a perfect fit for go-karts with a GY6 150cc engine, including popular models like the Ace Maxxam 150, Carter Talon 150, Gio Bikes 150, Hammerhead 150, and TrailMaster 150. It's a versatile product that can be used with any go-kart equipped with a GY6 150cc engine, provided you have an 8-coil stator.

This wiring harness will retrofit the following machines:
Ace Maxxam 150.
American Sportworks, 6150, Carbide / Quantum 7150, Carbide 7151, Zircon 6152.
Carter Talon 150 DLX, FX, GX, GSR, GSX.
Gio Bikes 150 GT.
Hammerhead 150 GT, SS.

This wiring harness is plug-and-play and does not require a multimeter or cutting tools to make it work.

If your go-kart is currently using a 6-coil stator, it's important to note that you'll need to upgrade to an 8-coil stator. This is because the flywheel diameter is different between the two, and the wiring harness we're installing is designed to work with the larger 8-coil stator. This is a crucial step in the process, so make sure you're prepared.

Maximum Parts came up with a solution to retrofit any GY6 150cc go-kart engine. Many wiring harnesses are available online, but most are only partially compatible with your go-kart; this is caused by the length of the wiring harness and the components used. Some of the components are different from brand to brand. This is why we also include all the necessary components in this kit. As some machines are longer than others, we also include a solution for those cases, which will be explained in this video.

This wiring harness has no security features, such as pushing the brake pedal or neutral gear to start the machine. Ensure you sit in the machine, press the brake pedal when you start it and have complete control. If your machine is in gear, and the carburetor is not adjusted correctly, the machine may move forward or reverse when you start it.
