Experience BART's ride from Fremont to Bay Fair in a new high-definition journey aboard an 8-car San Francisco/Daly City train, as it travels through the East Bay on a beautiful weekday afternoon.
Fremont geographically is the transit agency's southernmost stop and currently the last station for all trains coming from the peninsula and West Contra Costa County. An extension toward Fremont's Warm Springs area and the South Bay is under construction. Bay Fair Station in San Leandro is BART's transfer point in Alameda County for passengers switching between the Richmond, San Francisco/Daly City, Fremont and Dublin/Pleasanton trains.
In all, the ride from Fremont to Bay Fair (and vice versa) takes about 17-20 minutes, and is one of a couple stretches in the BART system that does not run alongside a freeway. Some visual attractions on this ride include zipping by Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area in Fremont, and bypassing BART's Hayward maintenance yard just north of Union City Station.
