Say hello to Shawn McConnell, proud graduate of Method 1 Word Clearing—Scientology’s revolutionary (and entirely unnecessary) way of teaching adults how to read, using interrogation, dictionaries, and the occasional ethics threat.
In this episode of Scientologists (at)life, Shawn proudly announces that after years of being semi-literate, he’s now fully Scientology literate—which means he understands words like entheta, withhold, and donations. Sure, he had to pay thousands and spend hours re-reading the same paragraph, but hey, he’s got wins. Or at least laminated ones.
This parody exposes the absurdity of Scientology’s obsession with misunderstood words, their belief that dictionaries cure all ills, and their ability to turn basic literacy into a paid religious experience.
🧠 Why We Made This
At Church of Satire-tology, we parody Scientology propaganda to reveal the manipulation, thought control, and pure Hubbardian nonsense at its core. This video mocks the Scientologists @life series from Scientology TV, where members say almost nothing, reveal even less, and somehow act like it’s a spiritual breakthrough.

This is a parody. No real dictionaries were harmed. Scientology’s war on language, however, continues.
