In this video, I’m excited to share a special Christmas present with the Obsidian community: the new Mindmap Builder script for Excalidraw. While I was supposed to be finishing my upcoming course, I took a little "procrastination detour" to build a tool that makes visual thinking and brainstorming faster than ever.

I walk you through a live demonstration of how to install and use the script, focusing on a "friction-free" experience where you can build complex mindmaps using almost entirely keyboard shortcuts. I also cover the new LaTeX Suite integration for mathematical formulas and the highly requested "Sticky Arrow" feature that allows you to map out images with ease.

Finally, I discuss how these tools fit into my broader visual thinking framework, share an update on my book "Sketch Your Mind," and give you a sneak peek at what to expect from my new course, "Sketch Your Life," arriving in the new year.
