Exclusively launched in Japan, the Yonex Regna 100 is available only in very limited quantities. It is weighted for intermediate players, but it should also tempt the more advanced ball striker who wants raw speed. The REGNA 100 combines a responsive carbon material Namd with a meticulously engineered beam construction. The result is a racquet that flexes optimally across all stroke speeds. The on-court payoff, according to Yonex, is increased comfort and stability combined with a high level of accuracy on every swing. Other technologies include a Divergent String Pattern which engineers the pitch of the lower main stings to create a more responsive feel on slices and volleys. From the baseline, the Spin potential is also impressive thanks in part to the speedy acceleration and open 16x19 string pattern. The quick handling continues at net where this racquet moves very fast when the pressure is on.
