Testing the effects of increasing and decreasing the back focus distance of an ASI294MC Pro CMOS astrophotography camera with a Schmidt–Cassegrain telescope. I'm trying to determine whether the lensing I see in my images is as a result of bad back focus, or something that is natural to SCT telescopes. I look at the impacts on the field of view with and without a focal reducer.
Thanks for watching, and clear skies!
