Highly recommend this kayak! I own multiple years of these foldable kayaks and this is by far my favorite! It does not feel like it's a foldable. Very stable and sturdy compared to previous models.

The Tucktec is a single-person folding kayak with a 300-pound capacity. It's made of high-density polyethylene thermoplastic with side rails of marine-grade, high-density closed-cell foam. It features a tracking fin that can be removed. it wieght 25 lbs for the Pro model and just over 20 lbs without extra options.

The fin (SKEG) on the Tucktec works well and can be removed, and does a good job keeping you moving in the right direction. The hard exterior of this craft also helps it to glide through the water with minimal drag, though the gaping slot on the front of the bow is less elegant. As a fairly wide kayak for its length, the Tucktec provides decent balance, with a thick seat that gives you a higher vantage point than the average kayak. Plus very sturdy seat that can be adjusted. The new cage system make the kayak feel solid and sturdy.

I did not have any issues with setting up the kayak. After the initial fold from brand new. The second time was so much easier. Seems very durable! I've used previous models dozens of time with no issue or folds failing. This Kayak will also take a beating from rocks without problems.
