Begin standing in Mountain Pose, transfer your body weight onto your left foot. Place your hands on your hips and glide your right foot behind you with your big toe pointing towards the floor. Lift from your lower back and curve into a lower back bend with your hips tilting forward. Bend your right knee, and raise your heel into the air. Guide the heel towards your right buttock and clasp the back of your ankle with your right hand. Lift your right leg backwards allowing your thigh to become parallel to the floor, and your shin to be vertical. Draw your right hip forward to align your torso frontwards. Raise your left arm and let it lead the body forwards as you bend towards the floor. Keep your left arm parallel to the floor with your palm facing the ceiling. Press your index finger and thumb together. To release the posture, take your right leg back to standing and your arms back to your sides. Repeat on the opposite side.
