Conway car dealer talks tariffs on car imports, potential impacts

Earlier this month, the Trump Administration's 25 percent tariff on imported cars took effect.

This impacted car dealerships, repair shops, and buyers across the nation.

The owner of the Auto World of Conway, Ron Geris, said while he hasn’t seen much of an impact yet, the anxiety in the automotive industry is coming from both new and used car dealerships.

“The used car market is driven by new car sales," said Geris.
