Out-of-state students in Arizona face a confusing situation over whether they need to get Arizona license plates. The law has "gray areas," particularly concerning employment. While some police departments only cite students with full-time employees, others leave it to the officer's discretion, and students are left unsure about the rules. To avoid a potential fine, it's recommended that students with full-time work get Arizona plates.
