*This week on the vlog, we're talking about *abundance vs. lack*—and how choosing to see the good can change everything.* 🌿
Life's been full lately... not of hot water (still waiting on that fix 😅), but of meaningful moments and everyday blessings. In today’s video, come along as we:
• Share a family cattle drive across the farm 🐄
• Bake cookies + preserve garden peppers 🫑
• Make hearty stuffed bell peppers for dinner
• Conquer laundry and dishes (as always)
• Talk kefir water and kitchen experiments
• Reflect on what it means to notice *abundance*, even in imperfect seasons 🌱
From a quiet garden bed to a noisy kitchen full of kids and chores, I’m reminding myself (and hopefully you too) that joy often hides in the messiest moments.

RECIPES:
*My Go-To Cookie Dough Recipe* 🍪
*Ingredients:*
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
1 cup chocolate chips (or measure with your heart!)
¾ cup caramel bits (or sub extra chips if you’d like)
*Instructions:*
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until fully combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel bits.
7. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
*Bake Time Options:*
For regular cookies: Bake at 350°F for **10–12 minutes**, until edges are golden and centers look slightly soft.
For freezer/stacked bakery-style cookies: Freeze dough scoops, then stack two scoops for extra-thick cookies. Bake frozen & stacked at **350°F for 12–14 minutes**.
*Tip:* Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. That helps them set up perfectly gooey in the middle!
