Sailing Oct 04 2013 in Muiderzand. Wind was very gusty. We actually did not sail that much that day.
The old rig pin-tail has tendency to get stuck in the mud if water depth is in the dangerous range (deep but not deep enough).
When the mast is to windward, you can keep the boat from flipping over again to leeward if you hang onto the trapeze handle when the boat is coming up. In our case however, we experienced serious lulls so there was only very little wind pressure and the boat did not even want to flip over to leeward.
