Version 4.8 Review Part 1 - balance changes review all buffs and nerfs | Genshin Impact TCG

Welcome to the Invokation Akademy Review Session, where I go over all the changes to GITCG from the latest update, and give you my first impressions to get you better prepared for the new metagame.

Version 4.8 comes with "only" 3 new characters and 5 new action cards, but importantly has a whole bunch of balance changes - and great ones too. Not only were all the most popular decks nerfed in some way, we're also finally getting a rework of plunging attack based characters that should breathe some new life into their decks!

With the number of balance changes to go over, this time around in Part 1 we'll just look at those - and save all the new character and action cards for Part 2 - so keep an eye out for that! But don't worry, with the balance changes there's already plenty to play around with in the first week. They've missed on some balance patches before, but I think they really nailed it with this one!
