Lacanilao cited in contempt, Remulla invokes executive privilege at Duterte arrest probe

Sen. Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa on Thursday (April 10) moved to cite in contempt Special Envoy on Transnational Crime Markus Lacanilao for supposedly lying during a Senate panel's probe into the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla meanwhile invoked executive privilege in refusing to answer who ordered to bring Duterte on the flight to The Hague.
