From humble beginnings, the museum has risen to become one of the Isle of Man's most treasured and appreciated heritage sites. Ivor here explains something of the journey, through some of the fascinating stories that the museum tells through its exhibitions.
From first flight to bearing witness to the lost the museum offers so much, to visitors and to the Manx people in general.
