President Trump has signed an executive order withdrawing the United States from the Global Forum on Migration and Development.
This formally removes the country from an international body tied to the United Nations’ Global Compact for Migration.
This comes after the US President ripped into the world body at the UN General Assembly in September.
Trump also claimed that European nations are “going to hell” if they continue with their open border policies.
The UN is continuing its efforts to help the 4.9 million people in Venezuela who need humanitarian assistance following US strikes.
