Every believer in Jesus Christ, once born again, possesses the ability to see through the lens of Jesus Christ. Prophetic sight is not limited to preachers or specific individuals but is available to all believers. One way God leads is through the visionary realm meaning that all believers have the ability to see spiritually. Prophets possess a unique level of insight and revelation from childhood and are recognized by other prophets. Additionally, prophets have specific jurisdictions assigned to their ministry, such as regions, churches, nations, or specific functions like judicial or miracle-working prophets.
Believers who have the ability to see spiritually may receive insights for their families or personal lives, and even broader visions like those concerning nations. However, they may not necessarily have a vocational calling as a prophet within the church with a specific sphere of influence.
Prophets possess prophetic oversight; understanding prophetic ecosystems and historical contexts. They also have prophetic hindsight, discerning past events' impact on the present and future. Prophets serve as both natural and spiritual historians, interpreting history through a revelatory lens to guide the future.
