The City of Brighton and Hove are located in the county of East Suxxex on the South Coast of England, United Kingdom. It is approximately 50 miles south of London. Brighton has a population of 300,000. The Royal Pavilion and the Palace Pier in Brighton were constructed in 1841 by King George IV and the arrival of the construction of the railway station in 1841 helped the city to develop as a sustainable tourist resort for the famous and the rich of the 19th century.
