Laura Ella Whiting Randolph, 83, of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025
surrounded by her family. Born in Ashburn, Virginia on October 27, 1941, she was the beloved daughter
of Charles Henry Whiting and Lillian Francis Bowles Whiting.
Laura was a proud graduate of Douglass High School (Rams) in Leesburg, Virginia, Class of 1960. She was
a spirited cheerleader during her high school years and cherished the friendships she formed there,
many of which she maintained throughout her life.
On August 26, 1961, Laura married Reginald “Duke” Randolph. Together they shared 55 years of
marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and faith. Duke preceded her in death, along with her
parents, Charles and Lillian Whiting, and her four brothers, Henry, Charles, James, and Walter Whiting.

clerk, where she retired in 1999 after 28 years of dedicated service. She began a second career as a

care. Laura hosted her famous Sunday Dinners for her children and grandchildren who now carry on that
cherished tradition.

faithfully as an Usher and on the Pastor Parish Relations Committee. Her faith was a cornerstone of her
life, and she was dedicated to her church family and community.
