GE Profile Opal 2.0 Ice Maker - Disassembly and Deep Cleaning (full video)

My GE Opal 2.0 nugget icemaker is nearly 2 years old and has definitely seen better days. We have spotted black algae or mold at the bottom of the main water unit and sometimes in the ice itself. I have not been as diligent about cleaning out the unit, and this was the outcome. In this video, I will disassemble the ice maker and thoroughly clean out the muck and dust.
