In October 1984, a local New Jersey TV station, Suburban Cablevision "TV3", took to the streets of Roselle, NJ, to ask what their predictions were for the 1984 World Series. During the National League Championship Series, the Chicago Cubs won the first two contests, but it was enough for many Americans to think that the Cubs would face the Detroit Tigers at the World Series. But, obviously, the Cubs didn't even make it to the World Series, and the Tigers played the San Diego Padres.
