American Reacts to Why Starbucks FAILED in Australia ☕😳

Okay, so Starbucks is everywhere in the U.S. — airports, gas stations, probably your cousin’s wedding. It’s the most recognizable coffee brand in the world. So when I found out it failed in Australia, I had to figure out what went down.

Turns out, Aussies don’t mess around when it comes to coffee. Between incredible local cafés, strong espresso culture, and a deep love for barista-made coffee, Starbucks just couldn’t compete. It was too sweet, too generic, and just not what Australians wanted in a cup.

Did they recover? Kind of. But it’s clear that Australia’s coffee scene is on a whole other level — and honestly, I respect the hell out of it.
