In western Guangdong, especially in places like Zhanjiang, Wuchuan, and Maoming, there is a saying that "the Spring Ritual is even more important than the Lunar New Year." Every year during the first lunar month, villages across the region hold these traditional Spring Rituals. Atlas spent several days in western Guangdong, documenting the customs and celebrations of the Spring Rituals across different counties, towns, and villages.
