WEAKENED JOHN CENA OUTSMARTED BY NJPW EXECUTIVES! | WWE 2K20 Story

John Cena is outsmarted NJPW execs after he tried to force a world title match after retiring from WWE as the Universal Champion in WWE 2K20 Story.

Cena made his return to wwe at the Royal Rumble and threw out 5 wrestlers before winning the match to take himself to the main event of Wrestlemania. He chose to challenge The Monster among men, Braun Strowman and thus battle for the universal championship. Cena won the title from Strowman but immediately vacated the belt after wrestlemania and retired from the WWE for good.

This decision might have seemed strange to some, but Cena had a plan and wanted to prove that he still had it in the tank and that he could still be the face of the WWE (if he chose to) -- John Cena's choice to retire from the WWE as the undisputed champion also gave him more negotiating leverage when agreeing a 5 PPV match contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

This custom storyline features clips from both 2K19 & 2K20. The reason we still use 2K19 for some clips is because this years game is unmoddable, so alot of the cool cutscenes are not possible.
