天文新知「尋找系外行星」| Astronews “Exploring Exoplanets”

太陽系內有八大行星，原來太陽系以外也有行星圍繞其他恆星運行的系統，這些行星被稱為「系外行星」。你知道天文學家是用甚麼方法尋找和研究它們嗎？

最近NASA發現了31光年遠，編號為GJ 357d的系外行星，這段影片介紹發現過程當中的科學。

太陽系內所有行星都有名字，而系外行星亦同樣有，而你還有機會被選中命名！今年國際天文聯會在世界各地舉行系外行星命名活動，當中編號為HD 212771的系外行星會接受全港市民提名，10月進行投票選出名字。詳情可瀏覽以下網站：
