These rich, fudgy brownies use sourdough discard to add depth and a subtle tang that takes them over the top. Perfect for beginner bakers or sourdough lovers looking for a sweet twist.
Ingredients:
1 cup of brown sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup powdered sugar (sift if lumpy)
¾ tsp sea salt
⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (sift if lumpy)
2 large eggs
½ extra-virgin olive oil
½ cup sourdough discard
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup milk chocolate chips
Bake at 325 degrees for 30min. If you want them extra fishy, bake for 27min. Enjoy!
