Have you ever taken a moment to look into your family’s history? It might end up astonishing you deeply.
What I have discovered about my family goes far beyond anything I could have imagined. Not only because the protagonists of my story are gods, the royal family itself, and magical beings, but also because my lineage is woven with threads of magic, wrapped in countless battles, and under divine scrutiny at all times.
My narration could begin much further back, but I believe that, for this occasion, I will focus on the events that took place in the Western Kingdom during the Seven-Day Tournament. This tradition, carried out to betroth the king’s only daughter to the tournament’s winner, finally brings the entire royal family together after twenty years. However, what is meant to be a week of joy and celebration is interrupted by an event that will change everything. Nothing will ever be the same again, neither in the realm of men nor in the realm of the heavens.
