Ross Steering Box BUSHINGS & SEAL, 7/8" Sector Shaft (PART 1)

How to install Willys Jeep Ross steering gear box 7/8" sector shaft bushings and seal (PART 1). Inner steering box sector shaft bushing and outer steering box sector shaft bushing are installed inside the steering gear box which the sector shaft rides on. A seal is installed on the outside of steering box to prevent oil leakage to were the sector shaft exists and connects to the pitman arm.

During the harsh winter months in Canada we decided to take the Willys apart, fix a few parts, and get it back on the road. Then repeat this the next winter. During the winter of 2021 we rebuilt the brakes and basic engine upgrades (spark plugs, water pump, distributor, ignition coil, etc.). THIS winter of 2022 we are tackling to replace the transmission and transfercase but finding lots of other problems deep within the engine.
