This is the only episode featuring a physician from Star Fleet! Even though it's based on a tired old theme, don't worry! It's actually quite good! Also starring is Mayberry's Barber (Howard McNear) and (Hanna-Barbera cartoon voice) Daws Butler. It's one of my personal favorite episodes, plus one of the few "Best Episodes" from the year 1957.

✓✓√√√√✓×√+√×✓+√✓×√✓ STUFF-N-SUCH • In the STAR TREK episode "Return to Tomorrow" Dr. McCoy actually said this: "I will NOT peddle flesh! I'm a physician!" - In the intro to this episode, Kelley is introduced as a "new young talent!"
Did you know ? ? ? In 1956 Suspense (along with most other radio shows) were just about eliminated? Many Suspense episodes from the '55 - '56 season is a repeat because the cash flow all but stopped. The show was moved from Hollywood to New York in order to save more money. By broadcasting from New York, they could hire non-union actors and other non-union workers to produce the show. The one time 38 piece orchestra had already been reduced to 24, then 18, then 8, then finally all background music came from records. William N. Robson came to the rescue in 1957 and salvaged a few more years, but there really aren't that many outstanding episodes from 1956 thru the end of the shows run in September 1962. Naturally, I'll post the good ones. I'm also adding new series to this channel. Growth of my channel may be slow, but I'm providing quailty over quantity. In the long term it should be well worth it for all of us.
