Her name is Anya Volen — 90 years old.
Alone in a small wooden hut buried beneath snow and silence.
No roads. No radio. No rescue.

Inside the hut, survival depends on fire, instinct… and loyalty.
Two Arctic dogs lie alert near the door — muscles tense, ears sharp.
A small calico cat curls close to the stove, guarding the last warmth left in the room.

Outside, the forest watches back.

Wolf tracks appear near the hut.
Distant howls echo through frozen trees.
Glowing eyes move between shadows — patient… hungry… waiting.

Anya feeds the fire with trembling hands.
Snow melts slowly in a metal pot.
Steam mixes with her breath as she cooks simple food and pours tea made from melted ice.

Then the dogs rise.

A howl breaks the silence.
Another answers.
The wolves have arrived.

The pack circles the hut, crunching through deep snow.
The fire flares — sparks flash against the window.
The dogs bark, holding the line.
The cat arches its back, sensing danger.

Wood runs low.
The fire weakens.
And Anya makes a dangerous choice — to step outside.

The blizzard hits instantly.
Wolves watch from the fog as she chops ice from a frozen stream.
The forest closes in.

Suddenly — movement.
The pack charges.

Anya runs.
The dogs burst from the hut, standing between her and the wolves.
Growls. Snapping teeth. Circling shadows.

She reaches the door just in time.
The beam slams shut.
The fire survives.

Inside, she collapses near the stove.
The dogs settle beside her.
The cat climbs into her lap.

Outside, the wolves fade back into the frozen taiga.
