Note. I recently spent some time playing with the Gun4IR Wireless setup again. It’s been a few months since I first bought and used it, and while the wireless freedom is absolutely fantastic, there are still a few parts of the setup process that can feel a bit inconvenient.
The good news is that PS1 and PS2 are relatively easy to configure since everything works smoothly in simple joystick mode. In particular, PCSX2’s nightly build offers perfect compatibility for PS2, which makes the entire setup much more straightforward.
As for PS1, DuckStation now supports two-player gameplay via RawInput, so you no longer need to rely on joystick mode just to play with two players. Still, two-player joystick mode remains incredibly simple to set up, which is a big plus.
In the video I uploaded, I tested a variety of games, including several two-player and co-op titles, to see how well the Gun4IR Wireless performs in different scenarios.
