The Shelby GT350 packs a high revving 5.2L flat-plane crank V8 that produces 526 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 429 lb ft of torque @ 4,700 rpm. The engine is mated with a manual 6-Speed tremec TR-3160. Suspension wise, this particular Shelby uses Ford's magnetic ride which is included in the track pack.
History of Shelby GT350:
The first GT350 was released back in 1965. Ford's President at the time, Lido Anthony "Lee" Iacocca, went to Carroll Shelby for assistance in making a standard Mustang GT into a "racehorse". After 50 years, Ford releases the new GT350 for 2015. Unfortunately, Carroll Shelby didn't live long enough to see this new GT350.
