Episode 109
Quest for the 3PEAT: NHL season is in full swing and what a time to be alive. The last 6 years the Stanley Cup has gone through the Sunshine State and both the Lightning and now the Panthers have won the Stanley Cup. Now this year the Panthers go into the season as the 2X reigning defending champs. Unfortunately for them, they’re suffering some injuries with Tkachuk being until December and Barnett being out until about the same time. As the season moves forward, which NHL team can dethrone the 2X Stanley Cup Champions, Florida Panthers?
Baby Shark Attack: The Sharks are on insane run and their rookie draft pick is leading the league in overall points, and oddly enough Conor Bedard isn’t too far behind as well. In any case, the Sharks started the season winless until a win against the Rangers turned everything around. Since that win the Sharks are 7-1-1 and actually look like they could be a contender if the playoffs were to start. Despite their slow start, could the San Jose Sharks actually make a playoff run
Baby Blackhawks: The future is looking so bright for the Blackhawks the city of Chicago is gonna need sunglasses. Right now we’re witnessing the emergence of Darth Bedard, as Conor Bedard is getting comfortable and gaining confidence fast. With Conor Bedard gaining confidence in the NHL, can the Blackhawks possibly make a playoff run?
Judging Raleigh: People really need to have their brains scanned if theyre this confident that Cal Raleigh should’ve won ALMVP. Don’t get it twisted Raleigh easily had the greatest season ever for a catcher, but was only beating Judge in 2 offensive categories. Mind Judge was missing games and nearly matched Raleigh in HRS this season as well. When looking at offensive stats, was Cal Raleigh snubbed of the ALMVP?
Believe in Bill: The North Carolina Tar Heels were off to a rocky start, but have been gaining traction under their feet since. Was it a bold move for Bill to go from the NFL to college, yeah sure. Is it starting to look good for North Carolina football next season, without question. Despite a rocky first season for the Tar Heels, will they be a Top 25 team next season?
Fools Gold: This is probably gonna be the most insane take for this year, but the Buckeyes look like fools gold. Sure they’re knocking teams down that are put in front of them, but when you really look at their schedule, who can confidently say that any of those teams gave OSU a run for their money. Even when Alabama was on top of college football they were beating ranked teams, and still are too. Even though Ohio State are the defending champs, could they go B2B, or will someone dethrone the defending champs?
Indiana Jones: Ohh so now that Jones left the Giants, he knows how to play football all of the sudden. Anyways, it’s no surprise that Jones is balling out since leaving New York. The Giants barely put anything around him and dude was getting massacred the entire time. Now since joining the Colts, he’s actually a candidate for NFLMVP and also making the Colts look like serious AFC contenders for a playoff run. Can Daniel Jones lead the Colts to a serious playoff after the Colts secured the 1 seed in the AFC?
Monsters of the Midway: Man ohh man is Midwest football back and in a big way possible. It’s sad to think that people actually believed the Packers were gonna be fighting the Lions for the top spot in the NFC North. The Jordan Love glaze has got to stop, because right now the Bears are putting people on notice since they made Ben Johnson their HC AND actually gave Williams an offensive line. Would it be any bit surprising that the NFC North comes down to a battle of the Lions and Bears?
