This August, Sierra Trek is celebrating its 57th year running Northern California's Fordyce Trail (sister to the Rubicon Trail). We dug back through the archives and found this awesome documentary from the 1992 event, and Sierra Trek gave us permission to publish it. These were the days when 35s were considered BIG tires, before push-button lockers (save ARB Air Lockers), and driver skill and finesse triumphed over tech. You'll find classic Jeep CJ-7s and Willys flat fenders, vintage Ford Broncos, International Scouts, and First Gen Toyota Hiluxs...yes, drink now:)
