Inspired by BumBum Cream (Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist)

📦 FROM YOUR BOX
¼ cup (2 oz) Shea Butter
¼ cup (1.8 oz) Coconut Oil
2 Tbsp (1 oz) Jojoba Oil
1 Tbsp (0.3 oz) Stearic Acid
1/4 tsp Mocha Mica Powder (optional)
1/2 tsp Yellow Gold Mica Powder (optional)
1/2 tsp Tiger Orange Mica Powder (optional)
8 oz jar
Scent (choose one):
Essential Oil Version:
8 drops Peru Balsam
6 drops Orange (Sweet) EO
6 drops Sandalwood EO
4 drops Cardamom EO
Fragrance Oil Version:
2 drops Crème Brûlée Safer Fragrance Oil
12 drops Sweet Orange EO
12 drops Sandalwood EO

🏠 FROM YOUR HOME
1 Tbsp Cornstarch or Arrowroot Powder (optional)

🗒️ INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a heat safe bowl or double boiler, combine Shea Butter, Coconut Oil (Solid), Jojoba Oil, and Stearic Acid.
2. Gently melt together in a double boiler or in a microwave (stirring between 20-30 second intervals).
3. Once melted, chill for approximately 1 hour or until the edges look opaque but the center is still soft (not fully hardened).
4. Using a hand mixer, whip for 3–5 minutes, until the mixture looks light and airy and leaves soft peaks when you lift the mixer (see tips).
5. Add 1 Tbsp cornstarch, mica powders (optional), and your chosen scent blend. Whip again until smooth and combined.
6. Spoon into a clean, dry jar. Label.
To use, scoop a small amount and massage onto dry skin. Let the buttery texture melt in, leaving your skin soft, glowing, and lightly scented.

Tips:
The Fragrance Oil Version smells more strongly and more like caramel than the essential oil version. Both smell wonderful.
To speed up cooling time, pour your mixture into a a pre-chilled container.
If mixture hardens too much before whipping, let it sit at room temperature 5–10 minutes.
If your mixture feels too liquid as you whip it, place it in an ice bath while you whip to help it firm up.
Mica powders will add a light shimmer to your body butter. Play around with the mica powders to get your desired color.
