The traditional nuclear family—two adults and 1-3 children—is failing to produce enough offspring to sustain the workforce. The problem its huge expense. Glenn Campbell discusses the problems with small families and the benefits of big ones. He points out that in humanity's hunter-gatherer phase, families were "tribal" where parents pooled their resources to care for children. Recorded 19 March 2019 in the woods of Taupo, New Zealand.
