MicroFreak Vocoder performance: Hide And Seek cover (Imogen Heap)

Arturia just released the MicroFreak Vocoder Edition, a new edition and firmware update to its first freak product. This firmware works for all MicroFreak users, by just plugging any TRRS connector (i.e. any phone earphones with mic) to the output.

I was often intimidated by synthesizers, thinking they were too complex for a user like me. Yet the MicroFreak is really an intuitive and fun synth - probably my favorite of Arturia's hardware synth collection.

I chose to cover the song "Hide And Seek " by Imogen Heap. The lyrics reminded me of the feelings and mindsets that a lot of Lebanese people must have in these extremely challenging times: despair, anger and sadness. In a 2005 interview, Heap stated that the song's lyrics were ultimately about having painfully lost someone and having empathy with what someone is going through.

I do not own any rights for this song. All the rights go to the authors and owners of this song.
