Painting pine forests is my recent obsession. I love the dark green pine trees so high in altitude. It creates very mystical dark mysterious look in atmosphere. I love painting Pine forests with any types of colors. Where I live, Pine forests not even there. And I have visited such places long along 10 years back. I do want to visit pine forests next year. Because each time I paint it, it feels like long lasting longing. Here I used Golden Open acrylics medium to thin the paint. It makes the acrylics paint stay wet for longer time, and it acts little bit like oil paints. It helped me create very mystical look and feel in the painting. Acrylics is the medium I am painting more now for two months and even though it's not flowy, there is something alluring about it. Maybe it's opaque feel makes me comfort as well. The deep opaque layers that can build such fine depth makes me feel happy.
