The odds of a 2026 WNBA season have just blown up. the owners offered salaries as much as 6x the 2025 levels, but the WNBAPA negotiators are the owners of the "Unrivaled" basketball league which is a competitor of the WNBA. The contract talks have collapsed, and it appears that the WNBA players are having 2nd thoughts. But it may be too little, too late and the money loosing 28-year-old league may be history, there are no talks scheduled, and it appears that the WNBA may be history unless a miracle happens.
