Turn ANY Device into a Smart Device with ESP8266

In this video I’ll show you how to use an ESP8266 (ESP-12E) to control a regular device – in my case, a dehumidifier!
With just an ESP8266 and few wires you can turn any “dumb” device into a smart one that you can control from your phone or home automation system.

⚠️ Warning ‼️
A very important observation: I forgot to mention that after implementing this, the touch sensors on the buttons connected to the ESP no longer detect your finger, so manual control doesn’t work anymore.
If I find a solution that’s simple and easy to implement, I’ll let you know in the comments.
