Want to go backpacking in Yosemite? I will teach you how to plan and apply for a backpacking permit, also known as a wilderness permit through the nation park services website and other resources. Step by step I will walk you through my process of getting permits to Yosemite, and other places in the Sierra Nevada mountain ranges. I have been all over the country camping and backpacking. With this process, I have never had a permit request turned down. I have also gotten to seem some amazing places and you can too!

1. Find what you want to see.
2. Look at trailheads around what you want to see.
3. Plan out the route and look at elevation, elevation change and mileage.
4. Plan camping spots to camp at each night.
5. Apply for the permit!
