#CHANGEMAKER AWARDS FELICITATING WINNERS OF SARVAM ORGANIC HOME GARDEN AND TREE WARRIORS (TREE PROJECT) ORGANISED BY NATURE CLUB OF SARVODAYA CENTRAL VIDYALAYA
Nature Club@SCV Changemaker Awards 2022, felicitating winners of Sarvam Organic Home Garden and Tree warriors (tree project) by our Chief Guests, Adv. S. Venugopal, Chairman, Horticorp and Sri. Rajasenan, Indian film director.
When Covid 19 gripped the world, our students fought solitude, boredom, anxieties, and fear of missing out (FOMO) by getting out to their backyards or terrace& and started planting seeds. These young Changemakers, who did accept the challenge of growing an organic home garden during the pandemic by participating in Sarvam Organic Home Garden Project organized by Nature Club@SCV in association with PMI Kerala.
Likewise, honouring 26 ‘Tree Warriors’ who were bold enough to adopt a tree in their neighbourhood and started monitoring and recording its parameters like growth and other life events of the adopted tree by participating in the Tree Diary Project.
In Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya, the Nature Club is a highly committed group comprised of nature-loving students and we should all congratulate them for their nature-related initiatives and activities. It is commendable that Nature Club Ambassadors of Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya uphold traditions and values along with their knowledge acquisition.
