From the archives: A wet ol' time on the Milford Track | New Zealand

Nearly 20 years ago (May 2003), myself and a group of friends set off on the Milford Track. Most of us had just completed 5 days on the Caples-Routeburn, so by our last day on the Milford, we were on our eighth day in a row. It was the off-season so there was no heating in the huts and a number of avalanche-prone bridges had been removed. In addition to our group of 6 there were only around 4 others walking the track at the time.

Oh, and it rained. A lot.

The quality of this DV footage is certainly not very flash , but for me the memories are much more precious.
