MEMORY CARAVAN AT NYAMATA IN BISESERO

When you consider the sad background of the Ubumuntu Arts Festival, which was inspired by Rwanda’s tragic history, we felt it necessary to schedule a visit to the Nyamata Genocide Memorial. This visit not only commemorated the 30th anniversary of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi but also provided a chance for reflection and introspection. It’s an opportunity to assess ourselves and ask: Do we have what it takes to be humane? Are we embracing the values of humanity? Take a moment to think about that. May the souls of the victims continue to rest in peace. 🙏🏾
