Sunset at ancient burial site known as Arbor Low Stone Circle.
The stones are a group of rocks that were once standing, similar to Stonehenge, but are now all lying on the ground, owing to nature reclaiming its ground.
The stones can still be seen by walking around the circle or by walking along the high mounds that surround them. Many archaeologists claim the circle was built around 2500BC and it has been used by many different groups: Celts ,Romans, to name a few.
Watching the sunsetting from here is amazing I went back two days. My cameras did not seem to work. I think it was the glare.
Strange feeling knowing that our forefathers probably sat there watching the sun rise and set for thousands of years, doing the same thing I was doing.
The site cost's £1 admission to visit and parking is free so you can not complain really.
