VX10 HZL is an unusual example of the 4.4 TDV8; 2010 was a cut over year between the 3.6 TDV8 and the 4.4 TDV8 - this particular car was an early release prototype and press car, registered in July 2010. When the 4.4 TDV8 was first debuted by Land Rover in 2010 - most 4.4 TDV8 of the time would have been available on a "60" plate with the majority of 4.4 TDV8s being registered from September 2010 onward. In this mini series I will be transforming this Range Rover back to its original condition and revisiting the words written about this exact car more than a decade later!
