In this video I head out from Loch Ard towards Ben Venue. I’ve been up this Scottish mountain before, but never via this side, and with clear skies and freezing temperatures I was curious to see how much ice and snow I’d find higher up.
On the way up, the first signs of ice start to appear on the trail, and the views begin to open up. Near the top, there are dramatic, snow-covered mountains in the distance and some of the best views.
